Goodkey Show Services Ltd. is pleased to offer its clientele aisle carpeting that is 100% recyclable .The echo carpet is 100% recyclable, which is produced with a minimum of 25% post industrial recycled content. The echo carpet is currently available in 9’ wide forest green, We are currenty working with our supplier to add more colors by the end of 2008.
Technology also plays a role in Goodkey's going green efforts. In 2007, 80% of Goodkey's exhibitor kits were provided online rather than standard paper kits. Invoices that Goodkey sends out to show management are e-mailed. This further reduces the need for paper at our office and at our clients' offices. Goodkey’s equipment is bar coded and we scan each exhibitor's booth to confirm all of the equipment is in the booth that they paid for. This information is e-mailed as a confirmation to each exhibitor. This practice also lessens the amount of paper used by Goodkey and its clientele.
Goodkey is also pleased to offer a variety of sustainable exhibition products including biodegradable trash can liners and wastebaskets that are made of 100% recycled materials; vinyl table covers that are 4’, 6’ and 8 foot tables with no wasted material. Goodkey endeavors to use biodegradable and non-toxic cleaning supplies when available.
Goodkey’s going greens efforts incorporate sustainable business practices by recycling carpet and under padding; energy- efficient lighting; recyling paper and ink cartages from our graphic department. The fleet of Goodkey trucks that deliver our equipment from the warehouse to show site are equipped with the new 425 Cummins engine, which has emission control technology equipment. To further advance our emission foot print, we only purchase ultra low sulpher diesel.
We will continue to work with our suppliers to explore new ways of delivering sustainable solutions through the development and availability of more echo-friendly, cost effective alternatives.
